About me
Denish Azamuke received a BSc degree in computer science from Makerere University, Uganda, in 2020, and an MSc degree in mathematical sciences from the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Rwanda, in 2021. He received a PhD degree in computer science from Makerere University, Uganda, in 2026.
In 2023, he was a recipient of a 3-year Google PhD fellowship awarded to outstanding students around the world conducting exceptional research in computer science and related fields.
In 2020, he was a recipient of a 1-year AIMS Master's Scholarship.
In 2016, he received a 3-year Government of Uganda National Merit Scholarship for his undergraduate studies at Makerere University.
His PhD research was supported in part by the Digital Credit Observatory (DCO), a program of the Center for Effective Global Action (CEGA), with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, JPMorgan Chase & Company, Google PhD Fellowship Program, and Makerere University.
